For couples who want to learn Thai Yoga massage for personal use only, I offer the "Foundations of Thai for Couples" which is a series of 2 hour long workshops for couples to be able to share some quality time together and enjoy some therapeutic bodywork also. Couples can choose to take as many workshops as they like in either a group setting or in a private workshop.
Thai bodywork can be very sensual for couples and can help couples to feel grounded and cared for. The workshops are laid back and a lot of fun. One hour classes are being held outside in Spokane for the summer for groups of 2 to 24 people.
You will learn a 60 minute basic Thai Yoga routine which in time will allow you to add more stretches and poses for longer yoga sessions. Come alone or with a friend or spouse and plan on having a great time for an hour stretching and meeting new people. Please text or call Selina to inquire about the class schedule. |

Because of the close nature of Thai Yoga and because of the different stretches, it is important that participants wear comfortable stretchy long legged pants and either short or long sleeved shirts. Pants that go below the knees and are fitted tightly enough so that they will not slide up are also acceptable. Please honor everyone in the class by adhering to this policy. |
~ What is Thai Yoga ~
Just like Thai Massage is a two person activity, Thai Yoga is also 2 person team effort. One partner will receive while the other partner assists the receiving partner into deep stretches and prolonged poses that can not be achieved easily without some help. The main focus for Thai Yoga is in the stretching aspect and not in the rhythmic therapeutic and or relaxing aspects of Thai Massage. Both partners benefit from receiving and assisting in the activity and during the different poses and stretching, partners will communicate to one another about the pressure, the depth and the length of time the stretches are held.
